Select a Museum

The most asked question I receive is: “What is the best maritime museum?” And my answer is always: “Every maritime, lighthouse, canal, or canal lock museum is important as each has its own story — its own reason for having been founded.

Thank goodness for the dedication of everyone who has helped preserve our maritime history. Every time we visit a museum say thank you to those who greet you — they will appreciate it more than you might realize.
