Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum: (MS) The Museum provides the visitor a look-see of a few of the exhibits and you can find information about sailing tours on the museum's Schooners, browse the gift shop, check out the calendar of upcoming events, and read about the Sea and Sail Adventure Camp that is ideal for schools and children.

Mississippi River Museum: (MS) The heart of Mud Island is the Mississippi River Museum, an 18 gallery presentation of life on the Mississippi River. The Museum tells the story of the Memphis Belle, river disasters, and development of transportation along the mighty Mississippi River. The influences of the river on the area's rich musical heritage is also chronicled, from the work songs of the cotton fields to Blues and Rock 'n Roll.

USS Cairo Museum: (Vicksburg) The USS Cairo (Museum at Vicksburg, MS) was one of seven ironclad gunboats named in honor of towns along the upper Mississippi and Ohio rivers. These powerful ironclads were formidable vessels, each mounting thirteen big guns (cannon). On them rested in large part, Northern hopes to regain control of the lower Mississippi River and split the Confederacy in two.
